RESOLVED (3/11): Issue with Audio/Visual Check Page on iPad OS 17.4

Updated Monday, 3/11: This issue has now been resolved. All audio functions on iPads updated to iPad OS v17.4 are working now as expected. Mahalo for your patience.

Cambium Assessment has identified an issue with the audio not functioning properly on the Audio/Visual Check page for students testing specifically using iPads updated to iPad OS v17.4, which was recently released. This issue is only affecting the audio playback on the Audio/Visual Check page during student login. Audio files are working correctly on the actual test items. Please note that this issue only affects iPads that have been recently updated to iPad OS v17.4. Currently, the best workaround would be to use the non-affected device. If an affected iPad running OS v17.4 is used, the TA is required to utilize the training test site to check the audio can be heard clearly in a training test, just before logging into the summative test. To log in a student for testing on an iPad running OS v17.4, the TA will still need to confirm using the “I heard the sound” button on the A/V check page, even if no audio plays.
