Effective this year, the AIR Secure Browser will not work with iPads using iOS below 10.3 (first-generation iPad). To check to see if you have a first-generation iPad, look at the charging connector - if it is a lightning (narrow) connector, the iPad is a second-generation or newer iPad. The first-generation iPads will have a wide, flat connector. First-generation iPads may still be used for classroom instruction and other student activities; however, they will not be able to install or run the AIR Secure Browser beginning this year.
