The Assessment Section is accepting applications from special education and science educators as well as stakeholders and community members, to serve on the HSA-Alt Science Alignment Study Committee. Committee members should be familiar with the NGSS, with the science Essence Statements and PLDs, and with the characteristics of the students being tested. Experience working with these students and/or administering the HSA-Alt tests is desirable but not required. The committee will meet virtually on October 13, 14, and 15, 2021. Committee members will be working online and with multiple interfaces so reliable internet connectivity will be important.
