Scale Score Ranges by Performance Levels for ELA, Mathematics, and Science

The student’s performance on the items is summarized in an overall test score referred to as the scale score. The scale scores are divided into four performance levels using three performance standards (i.e., cut scores). The scale score ranges as of July 2019 (ELA and Mathematics) and July 2021 (Science) for each performance level are provided in this table.
